Dr Paul Ng

Dr Paul Ng specialises in medical retina and cataract surgery. He also provides a general ophthalmic service.Dr Ng has special interests in age related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease and retinal vascular diseases.
Dr Ng attained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Sydney University. He completed his basic ophthalmic training at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne. Further fellowship training occurred in the UK at the Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge and at the Medical Retinal Unit at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. On returning to Australia, he held an appointment at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney before beginning at Vision Eye Institute, Gold Coast.
Dr Ng is a reviewer for the Medical Retinal Section of “Clinical & Experimental Ophthalmology” Journal.
Dr Ng provides his specialist services at Vision Eye Institute as well as Vision Retinal Institute on the Gold Coast. He consults from Southport, Robina and Coolangatta. He is also a visiting Ophthalmologist on the Far North Queensland Regional Eye Health Team which services remote communities on the Cape York Peninsula.
